Phaidra Knight is the definition of an athlete. She was a member of the United States women’s rugby team for nearly 20 years, played in three World Cups and became the first African American woman to be inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame. Now, at age 50, she’s taking up another professional sport – Mixed Martial Arts. She joins Soledad O’Brien in studio to talk about defying the odds and surpassing expectations at any age.
