Need a chicken? Rent one. That’s what Jenn and Phil Tompkins, the founders of Rent The Chicken, want more people to do. Their business allows homeowners to rent egg-laying hens – bringing a coop, feed and all to their backyards. The Tompkins say the chickens bring more than just fresh eggs.
