Palm Beach County, Florida is changing. Investors are moving in – bringing more businesses and people to the area. According to the Census Bureau, the city of West Palm Beach’s population grew 8.9% between 2020 and 2024. The new developments are driving up prices and making it harder for longtime residents to afford to live there. Correspondent Jessica Gomez meets the people behind a concerted effort to keep one community in the hands of people who have lived there for generations.
