Reports out of U.S. territory Puerto Rico say that supplies and personnel are being sent to provide disaster assistance are not getting into the hands of many of the 3.5 million Americans living there. The supplies have arrived by barge and by plane but distribution has been a challenge, leaving hundreds of thousands without food or drinkable water. Army vet Sean Williamson, who is there with disaster relief team Visual Ops, says he’s witnessed a shortage of fuel and is worried about the impact. Gasoline and diesel are desperately needed to operate hospitals, water filtration systems, and communication systems. Soledad O’Brien checks in with Williamson for a debrief on what he is seeing on the ground. Puerto Rico journalist Jay Fonseca tells Soledad why many on the island are looking for a stronger response from the federal government.
