As an army photographer, Jacob Fadley captured the horrific scenes of war, including blasts, sometimes getting up close. Although he didn’t receive any lasting physical injuries, when he came home he was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress, or PTSD. But it might not have been what he saw through the camera lens that caused it. New evidence suggests that some war vets may struggle with PTSD due the physical trauma of blast exposure.
