Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is now behind bars after being convicted on all three murder charges in the death of George Floyd. According to the New York Times, police have killed at least 64 people since testimony began three weeks ago. More than half of those people were either Black or Latino. Dr. Steven Kniffley is a clinical psychologist and faculty member at Spaulding University. He leads the Collective Care Center, specializing in treating race-based trauma.
