Next weekend, white supremacists and counter protesters will descend on Washington, D.C. on the anniversary of the deadly protest in Charlottesville, VA. Nearly a year later, Charlottesville is still healing. Nikuyah Walker, the city’s first black woman mayor, says the deep-seated racism that was revealed during the protest is still there. She joins Soledad O’Brien to discuss how the city’s issues go far deeper than the blatant racism.
