Newly inaugurated President Donald Trump says he will get to work taking action on some of his campaign promises. Trump has said he will revive America’s economy, bringing back jobs, in part by rolling back some of the Obama administration’s environmental regulations which he says damages businesses’ ability to thrive and hire. Senior Fellow at the conservative Manhattan Institute Oren Cass is an expert in energy economics, working as the domestic policy director for 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney on energy, environment and anti-poverty policy. He joins Soledad O’Brien to share his advice for the next administration, outlining conservative policy approaches to government spending, environmental regulation and job growth.
