U.S. Custom and Border Protection is holding an estimated 2,000 unaccompanied migrant children in detention centers around the country. Two weeks ago, pediatrician Dr. Dolly Lucio Sevier visited the Ursula detention center in McAllen, Texas to perform medical evaluations on the children. After her visit, she wrote the conditions “could be compared to torture facilities.” She joined Soledad from Brownsville, Texas to share her experiences.
