Nearly 13 million American children don’t know where they’ll get their next meal or if it will be enough to eat. The hunger they experience inhibits their ability to learn, prompting free breakfast and lunch programs for the neediest students. Yet, some large school districts have gone a step further by providing all of their students with free lunch. Soledad O’Brien examines why one district made the change as well as how the expansion is impacting the students and their grades.
