African-American women face some of the greatest health risks in the U.S., especially when it comes to heart disease. More than 80% are overweight, 40% have high blood pressure and 36% have high cholesterol. But GirlTrek, a public health nonprofit for African-American women, is looking to change those statistics one step at a time.
