Congress is hurrying to finish their agenda before lawmakers head home for the holidays. On that list: passing tax reform, funding the government, emergency aid for hurricane and wildfire victims, and other spending bills. Finishing up their first year on the Hill, Reps. Jim Banks (R-IN) and Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) say they’ve been surprised by the amount of room there is for bipartisanship on less attention-grabbing topics. They join Soledad O’Brien for a review of their first year in the House, grade their party leadership, and a look toward their 2018 reelection races.
