FL Voters Gave Felons the Right to Vote. Now Lawmakers Want to Put that on Hold.

Florida voters took a historic step in November, changing the state’s constitution to restore voting rights to more than a million former felons. But now, state lawmakers are looking to restrict those voter approved rights, including requiring people to pay off court fees before they can head to the polls. Constitutional law expert Jennifer Daskal joins Soledad O’Brien to discuss what some are calling it a modern day poll tax.
